Two drive-thru restaurants are temporarily closed at the intersection of Highway 6 and 17
According to the release, Wendy’s and Tim Horton’s have closed their doors while detailed retrofits are carried out to the building space the two franchises share.
The businesses will be closed until mid-November with some 40 employees on temporary leave.
The renovations will include a re-design of the cooking areas, and a major design change for the public seating area, and limited retrofits to the exterior.
The owners hope to reopen by November 6th.
