The Elliot Lake branch of the LCBO will not be open for a while including this Canada Day holiday weekend.
The LCBO Press Office says on June 21st, there was a fire in the building next to the LCBO store in Elliot Lake and the heavy smoke and water caused extensive damage to the branch.
The release states since the restoration is significant, the branch will be closed while the work is carried out.
The LCBO locations in Blind River and Spanish are open all week to serve customers.
No timeline was given for the restoration.
