East Algoma OPP is thanking students, staff, and parents for their cooperation after a lockdown alarm issue at an Elliot Lake high school.
Police got the call around 11:00 am yesterday morning, following school protocol.
The OPP says police attended to clear the school and ensure the safety of students and staff.
After an investigation, police shared they found a technical issue with the panic alarm, and they’re currently looking into the cause and remediation.
