Sudbury hospital produces healthy surplus

At a time when some northern hospitals are struggling to make ends meet, the same can’t be said of the Health Sciences North hospital in Sudbury.  The health facility had a surplus of $432,000 for its last fiscal year.  That’s the second straight year the hospital has avoided a deficit and balanced its books.  Also waiting times at the hospital’s ER are down despite more visitors.
