Serpent River First Nation Pride Parade

The public is invited to come out to Serpent River First Nation for its inaugural Pride Parade.

Political assistant Lilli Doughty says the parade is set to take place June 24th at 9 am at the Lifestyle Centre.

She says the parade will wind its way down Village Road west, down Rio and back to Village Road, head east and end at the pow wow grounds.

Doughty says there will be a short ceremony and flag raising followed by lunch at the band hall.

She is asking for anyone who wishes to donate or take part to register.
