The Community Drug Strategy for the City of Greater Sudbury has received reports of unexpected reactions and an increase in overdoses.
Public Health Sudbury & Districts state while they cannot confirm the substance that has caused the overdoses, the situation serves as a reminder that street drugs may be cut or mixed with substances such as fentanyl or carfentanil.
The agency says overdoses can be fatal.
Free naloxone kits are available at pharmacies throughout the district.
