Tim Vine, the Liberal candidate for the Algoma-Manitoulin riding, says he plans to continue his campaign as part of the provincial election.
It was announced earlier this week that Vine had submitted his resignation from the Manitoulin Health Centre to assume the new position of Vice-Rector of Administration with Saint Paul University in Ottawa.
Vine says despite the move in April, he plans to continue his campaign adding while he will be relocating to Ottawa, he will continue campaigning by telephone canvassing, through social media, and with local visits on weekends whenever possible.
He plans to stay in his position until April while the centre fills his position of Vice President Corporate Support Services and Chief Financial Officer
Vine had also temporarily filled the position of Co-Chair over the last two years of the pandemic.
