This year’s radiothon has helped reduce the cost of the new retrofit at the Espanola Regional Hospital.
Over $11,000 and counting was raised on Friday through the Moose 99.3FM Radiothon to go towards the $550,000 cost of the medical imaging suite.
Just over $100,000 has been raised for the project over the last two years.
Sister station Moose 94.2 Algoma-Manitoulin will host its radiothon this Friday to raise funds for the Salvation Army Toy Drive.

A booth will be set up at the studio at 144 Ontario Avenue for the public to safely drop off their donations.
All funds and toys will go to the toy drive, which runs between 10 am to 4 pm.
