Algoma Public Health has issued an advisory Sunday evening of a low-risk COVID-19 exposure.
According to the release, the exposure is said to have taken place at a wedding reception in Bruce Mines on August 7th.
The agency asks anyone who attended the event at 546 Plummer Road in Bruce Mines to self-monitor, contact the office and get tested.
While the Algoma District had no cases during most of July, there are now four active cases within the region.
Public Health Sudbury & Districts is now reporting 26 active cases, 17 in the Manitoulin District, the rest in Greater Sudbury.
