Two snowmobile fatalities under investigation

A Goulais Township resident was killed on a snowmachine yesterday morning according to the East Algoma OPP.

OPP Constable Phil Young says police responded to a snowmobile collision near Dayton Road in the Iron Bridge vicinity at 9:30 am Tuesday morning.

Thirty-year-old Wade Kirby of Goulais Township was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Young says the investigation is also continuing into a snowmobile fatality on Sunday evening near Ranger Lake.

A 40-year-old person was pronounced deceased at the scene, but no name has been released while the investigation continues.
