East Algoma OPP has laid a mischief charge against a London, Ontario man following damage in an Elliot Lake apartment building.
OPP Constable Phil Young says around 1:30 in the morning last Wednesday police officers were called out to a disturbance at an apartment complex on Westhill Road.
He says the complainant reported seeing a person dressed in black attempting to get in the building.
They also reported they could hear glass smashing coming from the area of the main floor access door.
Young says police apprehended a man who was intoxicated, yelling and banging on tenant’s windows.
He says the 51-year-old from Toronto was charged with mischief and is to appear in Elliot Lake court on November 3rd.
