Avid fans will find out tonight if an Espanola woman has brought home the million dollar prize in the series Alone.
Kielyn Marrone of Espanola has run a survival adventure business, Lure of the North, for several years, so the idea of lasting 100 days in the high Arctic sounded like an adventure.
However, she did tell The Moose although she was never afraid, she did not like being alone, which made her emotional, which led to nicknaming herself RollerCoaster Kie.
She is one of ten contestants who competed in the History Channel seventh season of the Alone series living off the land near Great Slave Lake.
Being the only Canadian, she is in the finals with Roland Welker of Alaska and the only other woman, Callie Russell of Montana.
The three-hour finale starts at 8:00 pm this evening on the History Channel.
