No cruises in Thunder Bay, Sault Ste. Marie or Manitoulin for 2020

It will be at least two years before one cruise company returns for its cruises on the Great Lakes and next summer for a second fleet.

Viking Expeditions had announced the launch of its new ship in late winter, but with COVID-19, it has now postponed the launch until 2022.

The 175-passenger Hanseatic Inspiration was to originally sail from Toronto around Lake Huron including Windsor, Tobermory, Little Current, Sault Ste. Marie, Parry Sound and Thunder Bay starting on June 3.
