Harassment charges against Elliot Lake man

Following several calls to East Algoma OPP, an Elliot Lake man was arrested and charged with several charges including harassment.
OPP Constable Phil Young says on Sunday police received a multitude of complaints about harassment and threats in an Elliot Lake neighbourhood.
He adds police finally tracked the man down at a residence in Spanish and placed him under arrest.
Young says the 36-year-old from Elliot Lake has been charged with four counts of criminal harassment, four counts of mischief, two counts of uttering threats and nine counts of failing to abide by a probation order.
