MSS celebration cancelled

The 50th-anniversary major milestone for Manitoulin Secondary School will not be celebrated this summer.

School principal Jamie Mohamad says the organizing committee has decided to postpone the celebration, which was to have taken place August 28th and 29th.

He says their priority continues to be the well-being of students, staff, families and alumni during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mohamed says a Facebook alumni site has been set up and everyone is encouraged to post their memories, stories and photos to the page.
