Elliot Lake City Council agreed with a recommendation from the Drag Race Committee to postpone this summer’s annual drag race event due to Covid-19.
City CAO Daniel Gagnon says council and staff want to make it clear that the event is simply postponed and the 21st annual North Shore Challenge Drag Races, part of the Show Me the Money Tour will take place July 16th to 18th, 2021 at the Elliot Lake Airport Dragway.
He says the city and its partners are committed to a bigger and better event in 2021 when all can gather safely together once again.
