Ready for a mud run? You still have time to hit the gym!

The Boogie Rush law enforcement torch run is all set to go this year. The five km mud run is happening on May 23rd at Boogie Mountain in Espanola.

The event raised almost $40K last year, and they hope to match that amount this year.

There are different categories, including different ones for kids. There will be prizes throughout the day as well.

Official race schedule:
Full Course
13 and Over Male
13 and Over Female
Best Team Overall Time (Teams can be made up of anyone 10 and older provided the youth under 13 has guardian’s consent and one member of the team is over 18)
2 KM Course Under 13 (11 and 12)
Best Male
Best Female
1 KM Course Under 11 (9 and 10)
Best Male
Best Female
1 KM Under 9 (No minimum age)
Best Male
Best Female
NOTE:
There will be prizes for best individual/team times in all categories as well as for best team/individual costume/outfit!!!
There will be no teams this year for the Under 13 Courses.

PHOTO: Espanola Police Service Constable, Ed Stortz, was presented with the Highest Percentage Increase in Revenue 2014 Award from the official Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run. He hopes to match that effort this year. On hand for the presentation are: Cody Jansma, Manager of the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run (OLETR), Sgt Joanne Pendrak, GSPS and former President OLETR, Espanola Constable Ed Stortz and Espanola Police Chief Steve Edwards.
