The Mouth Park in Massey could see some improvements this Spring.
Sables-Spanish Rivers Township has given its approval for a budget for Canada Day as well as obtaining quotes for improvements to the park.
Council has approved a maximum of $3,000 for the Canada Day Committee to finance events on July 1st.
The funds will be used for festivities at the park and the Massey Area Arena.
The clean-up of the park is ongoing and the council will also be seeking bids for new benches and tables.
The bids are expected to be reviewed at the next regular meeting set for June 26th.
