Anti-bullying workshop part of Espanola Winter Carnival

Part of the fun and frolic at the Espanola Winter Carnival will also be spreading a positive message about fighting bullying.

A few members of the Canadian Wrestling Federation will be in Espanola this Sunday spreading a strong anti-bullying message and providing some great sport.

Kryss Thorn, the CEO of the CWF says his wrestlers, all professionals, travel to around 90 communities every year spreading a message of positivity.

We do not believe in negativity, he stresses.

Thorn adds the workshop is family friendly and open to all ages.

The free Anti-Bullying Workshop and Pro-Wrestling Extravaganza will be held this Sunday at the Espanola High School Gym.

The doors open at 12:30pm, the workshop runs from 1:00 to 2:00pm with live pro wrestling at 3:00pm.

Noojmowin Teg Health Centre, which just opened their new offices in Espanola on Tuesday, is sponsoring the event.
