A delegation will meet with Espanola council to discuss pool programming at the Espanola Regional Recreation Complex
Sue Bennett-Hamilton, a former high school teacher and a person interested in healthy lifestyles, will present her concerns about pool programming including the lack of lifeguards and instructors.
She has also been gathering signatures from people who share those concerns.
Bennett-Hamilton will address council Tuesday evening at 7:30pm.
Meanwhile, council also has a bylaw up for approval for the hiring of a lifeguard.
An instructor and lifeguard resigned in October leaving a gap in the programming, which should be alleviated with the hiring.
