As we get closer to Christmas, riding MP Carol Hughes is recognizing the work of two area women who make the time of year a little easier. One is Darla Hennessy of Elliot Lake, the founder of The Christmas Store. The outlet helps children find gifts for family members. The other person is the late Marion Seabrook of Mindemoya. Seabrook just recently lost her battle with cancer. But before that happened she created the Shopping for Kids program on Manitoulin. Hughes is confident that the program will carry on.
