Espanola OPP responded to numerous theft complaints in Nairn and Hyman Township arresting two men from southern Ontario.
OPP Constable Marie Ford says on Wednesday afternoon, officers located a stolen pick-up truck which led them to an isolated area north of Nairn Centre.
The officers recovered various stolen items, including generators, an all-terrain vehicle, dirt bike, licence plates and more, property that had been reported stolen from Orillia, Espanola and Simcoe.
65-year-old Gaston Gagnon Senior of Toronto is charged with: possession of marihuana; five counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
The second man, 29-year-old Gaston Gagnon Junior of Barrie is facing 20 charges including theft of motor vehicle: six counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000; failure to comply with bail conditions and possession of stolen property.
