Canadian Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Labour, Patty Hajdu, is visiting Manitoulin Island to make a special announcement.
Hajdu will be at Kenjgewin Teg educational centre in M’Chigeeng First Nation this morning to announce $4-million in funding for the Strategic Partnership Fund project: the M’Shiigaade program.
Kenjgewin Teg provides educational services through the delivery of college, university accredited and pre-employment training programs and professional development.
She will also tour the local water plant and discuss apprenticeships.
