Manitoulin Island taxpayer, Jason Chandler, has set up a meeting to the have Rainbow District School Board explain why it has banished Island trustee Larry Killens from all meetings until November 30th.
However, Chandler told The Moose he attended the board meeting last Thursday in Sudbury, but all members of the board have refused to attend.
Chandler says he has chair Doreen Dewar saying taxpayers can contact any member of the board, but other members are saying talk to Killens, who is banned from meetings for what they say is breach of the code of conduct.
He says the meeting tomorrow night will allow the public the opportunity to talk to Killens and find out why they have no elected member representation.
The meeting is set for Wednesday evening at 7:00pm at the Mindemoya Community Hall.
