A Sault Ste. Marie woman has died following a collision on Highway 17 between a tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.
The East Algoma OPP has confirmed the identity of the woman driver of the passenger vehicle as 49-year-old Vivian Elsby of Sault Ste Marie.
Police say the collision occurred around 1:30pm on Friday afternoon in the Township of Huron shores.
The highway was closed for several hours and the investigation continues.
