An Elliot Lake woman is facing charges following a knife attack.
On Sunday around 11:30 p.m., East Algoma OPP responded to a knife-related call at a residence on Albert Street in Elliot Lake, the OPP said in a release.
The complainant had reported being slashed by a woman.
The two individuals had an argument over drugs and an altercation took place, the police stated.
The woman fled on foot prior to police arrival, but was located and arrested.
The 35-year-old woman from Elliot Lake was charged with assault with a weapon, as well as robbery and wounding.
She appeared Blind River bail court on Monday.
