New Year’s Eve turned out to be a not-so-good night for an Elliot Lake woman.
Police responded to complaints about a woman banging on the door at an apartment building.
Police found the woman passed out in the hallway and she was taken into custody.
She assaulted officers and violated her probation order.
The 40-year-old was charged with assault with intent to resist arrest, two counts of assaulting a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer and being intoxicated in a common area.
The accused is to appear in Elliot Lake court on February 6th.
