An Espanola sports club’s new president is blown away with the support of the community.
Boogie Mountain President, Ed Stortz, says he is proud of the volunteers who made a fall fundraiser such a big success.
Stortz says Boogie Mountain’s amazing volunteers bagged groceries for two days at Winkel’s Your Independent Grocers (YIG) at the beginning of the month and the final tally is in.
The cheque presented by YIG added up to a tidy $2,133.55!

The funds will be used towards ongoing operating costs at the ski hill.
Stortz also extends a huge shout out to the customers who were so generous in their support.
