Northern Ontario is assured of having a major presence at next year’s Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada convention. The international event attracts mining firms from 130 countries and the north will be there with a Northern Ontario Mining Showcase. Temiskaming Shores will take the lead at establishing the showcase thanks to a $535,000 grant from FedNor. Once complete, the pavilion will house about 100 mining companies from the north showcasing their products and services.
