Watch out for the Secret Shopper scam. It’s making the rounds in Sudbury, prompting police to warn the public. In the Secret Shopping scam you are sent a cheque with instructions to keep some of the money, spend a little on at least two businesses and then send the remaining money back to the company that sent you the cheque. You don’t want to do any of this because it’s all a fraud. If you get such a cheque, report the matter online at www.antifraudcentre.ca
