The Sudbury and District Health Unit is warning northerners about rabies. The unit says a raccoon strain of the rabies virus has been sticking around in the Hamilton, Niagara and Perth area and could make its way north as animals move around.
The health unit says pet owners should ensure that their dogs and cats have been given their rabies shot.
