The Union of Ontario Indians has a new COO

The Union of Ontario Indians has a new chief operating officer.  He’s Gary Dokis of the Dokis First Nation.   Dokis takes over the running of the union’s affairs as of July 11th.  Dokis has extensive experience among First Nation organizations including serving as the executive director of the Chiefs of Ontario.  He is also a former political advisor to the Grand Council Chief.
