The volunteer fire department with Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands is calling a Little Current garage fire suspicious. And the Fire Marshall’s Office is now investigating Wednesday’s fire. A neighbour was looking out his window when he saw the fire and told the homeowner. They used a fire extinguisher and garden hose to put out the blaze before firefighters arrived. Damage was minimal and anyone with information about the incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
