Mantha tries to help remote First Nation

The MPP for Algoma Manitoulin is trying to help a remote First Nation in Northwestern Ontario get hydro-electric power.  But Mike Mantha says the Liberals have killed the project at the Lac La Croix reserve with their inaction.  Mantha says Hydro One excluded the reserve from upgrading its transmission lines even though it was carrying out similar work nearby.  Mantha says experts familiar with the project are disputing Hydro’s claim that extending the lines to the First Nation will cost $16-million.   The New Democrat wants the Liberals to address the issue.
