Dog stolen while woman shops

A Sudbury woman who did some shopping in Espanola has had her dog stolen.  The woman had the 80 pound mix breed on a chain in the bed of her pick-up truck.  She went into the Espanola Mall to shop with a friend and when she came out, her dog was gone.  Police say the dog responds to the name Buddy and he resembles a Laborador. He’s black with brown legs and he has white fur around his mouth.  Police are treating the incident as a theft and anyone with information is asked to call town police at 869-3251.
