New cellphone options coming to northern Ontario

Northern Ontario is getting some more options when it comes to cell phone providers. Eastlink is announcing their expansion of wireless services into the north. The cell phones are launching on June 18th in Sudbury, with nationwide plans.

CEO of Eastlink, Lee Bragg, says they are investing in the latest technology, and they were named the fastest LTE network in their service area the past two years. He says Eastlink will buy out your current contract, and calls their plans clean, simple, and cost-effective.

There will be a preview of the new service in Sudbury on June 9th, with the full opening on June 18th. The phones launch in Timmins tomorrow.
