Another Massey marathon in the books

A Toronto area man has won the Massey Friendly Marathon.  Ricardo Araujo of East York did it with a time of two hours, 54 minutes and 10 seconds.  From the women’s field, Victoria Tuttle of Carleton Place, near Ottawa came in first.  Tuttle’s time was three hours, 27 minutes and 53 seconds.  At 50 runners, the turnout was lower than past races.  The Massey event is a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.  The event also featured a half marathon, which attracted the most participants, and a 10-K run.  A man from Chapleau and a woman from Sudbury won the 10-kilometre race.
