Tractor crash ends in charges for a Manitoulin man

A 49-year-old Manitoulin man has been charged after his farm tractor hit an elderly pedestrian on the Island. Sunday’s incident took place in Campbell Township.

Among the charges the accused faces are impaired driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving bodily harm. The pedestrian, who is 82, was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
