The East Algoma OPP is warning the public to lock it or lose it. A number have cars have been broken into in Elliot Lake, prompting the reminder to keep all car doors locked. Police say living in a small city can create the illusion that crime doesn’t happen, leading people to keep their doors unlocked and engines running. But, the OPP says that is a false sense of security. Keep windows rolled up, valuables out of sight, and lock your doors.
