The East Algoma OPP is asking the public for help in tracking down suspects responsible for a break and enter at Pete’s Coin Car Wash in Elliot Lake. It happened early Monday morning, around 6:00am. They smashed the dead bolt, tore two safes off of the walls, stealing around $7,000 in cash. A canvas bag was also stolen, which police think they may have used to carry out the money. The total damage to the store is around $10,000. If anyone has information, call the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
