The Quonta Festival begins next week and both Elliot Lake and Gore Bay are represented. ELATE is performing The Foursome, and the Gore Bay Theatre is putting on the play Kindertransport. The five day festival will have other plays from Timmins, Sault Ste. And North Bay.
Sudbury is the host this year. The play that’s named the Most Outstanding Production will represent the north at the Theatre Ontario Festival in May which this year takes place in North Bay.
