A 24-year-old man from Mactier is charged with careless operation of a vessel after a boating accident on Georgian Bay. A 58-year-old man, who was a passenger in the small fishing boat, was thrown from the 14 foot aluminum craft late Saturday afternoon. He was airlifted to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Police have not described the nature of the accident.
