The search for a former Elliot Lake girl has ended in tragedy. The body of 25-year-old Ta-Neesha Brown has been found in a frozen pond in Markham where she recently had moved to. The speculation is Brown was walking along the edge of the pond and fell in.
No foul play is suspected. Brown suffered from schizophrenia and was bi-polar. She was living with an aunt in Markham when she left the home January 12th and wasn’t seen again. Her body was found Saturday morning.
