The Friendly Massey Marathon is just more than a week away on Sunday. The same day features the Spanish River half marathon and the Chutes 10 kilometre run. The Massey Marathon is a qualifier for the world famous Boston Marathon. Over the years the event, now in its 38th year, has attracted runners from around the world. The Massey Marathon begins at 6:00 a.m. and it’s followed 15 minutes later by the half marathon and another 15 minutes after that the 10-K runners take to the course.
