Health Sciences North is creating a foundation to improve healthcare for children in the Northeast. The NEO Kids Foundation will focus on raising money for children’s services, equipment and research within the hospital. Foundation president Patricia Mills says the first priority is a healthcare centre to service families and children in the Northeast. The facility will help families who have to travel long distances for their children’s treatment by building a centre for the entire region. (written by Gregory Ross)
