You can still have your say on the Spring Bear Hunt. The government is proposing to extend the hunt by five years, and is looking for public feedback. The pilot program going through to 2020 is currently open for public comment. The Ministry of Natural Resources says every province with black bears has a fall and spring hunt except for Ontario and Nova Scotia. The deadline for public input is November 30th, and the information can be found on the Ontario government’s website.
