Elliot Lake Food Bank-Fox Drive Industrial Park receives funding

The Ontario government is investing over $375,00 through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation to renovate the Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank and support the City of Elliot Lake’s development of the Fox Drive Industrial Park.
NOHFC is providing $157,500 to install a lift station and for electrical and engineering work and additional water and sewer lines on nearly two hectares of land at Fox Drive Industrial Park.
Officials add the Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank is also receiving $218,212 to refurbish its new downtown facility and purchase equipment such as fridges, freezers, shelving and a generator to enable better food distribution to serve vulnerable residents.
