Volunteers are more than welcome to come out and donate some time to Camp Day 2025.
Volunteers are needed on the drive-thru or greeting guests at local franchises, including Blind River, Elliot Lake, Espanola, McKerrow and Little Current.
Camp Day is set for next week, Wednesday, July 16th.
It was kickstarted in 1987 by 58 restaurant owners in Atlantic Canada who donated 24 hours of sales to the Tim Horton Children’s Camp.
The initiative expanded to all Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada in 1991.
Over $12.8 million was raised last year and over $262 million since 1991.
All the proceeds from coffee sales go towards the initiative with badges and bracelets also for sale.
The Moose 99.3 FM CJJM will be live on location in Espanola from 10 am to noon followed by a visit to the McKerrow location.
