Blind River’s Community Days kicks off tomorrow

One of Blind River’s most popular festivals, Community Days, kicks off tomorrow.
The four-day festival kicks off with the annual Teddy Bear Picnic for the kids from 11 am to 2 pm at the Timber Village Museum followed by the Movie At Dusk, Footloose, at the park.
There is also a midway, which opens on Friday, a demolition derby, Legion country hoedown, outdoor concert and vendors market at the park.
Saturday’s highlights includes the annual parade, and the outdoor country concert highlighting several local artists including Shania Twin capping of the day.
Sunday, join everyone at the park for the car and bike show, and North Shore Firefighters Challenge finishing off the festival with fireworks.
