Fair Ambassador Competition returns to Massey

The 2025 Massey Agricultural Society’s Fair Ambassador Competition is returning to the Massey Fair, and both males and females are invited to compete for an all-expense-paid trip to the CNE in Toronto for the Ontario Agricultural Society provincial title.
Montana Brandow says youth between the ages of 17 and 24 must purchase membership to the Massey Agricultural Society as their entry fee ($2 for 17-year-olds, $10 for 18 to 24) and must live within District 12 as stipulated by the OAC.
She says registration opens on July 1st, with a deadline of July 20th with the competition taking place following the opening ceremonies on August 22nd.
She adds that the delegates must submit an essay, biography and details of their community service.
On the day of the competition, Brandow says the delegates will be interviewed and spend the day at the fair, capping it off with the stage presentation.
She says for the stage performance, they will be introduced by MC Rosalind Russell of the Moose 99.3 FM, and the winner will be determined by answering a final question.
Brandow adds that the winner will attend the Ontario competition and, if chosen as the title holder, will represent the agricultural society nationally.
For entry details, message the Massey Agricultural Society on their Facebook page or drop by the fair office. 2.0-Massey-Fair-Ambassdor-25 (1).pdf
